Kungal Betta, an amazing trekking spot, located just 50kms away from Bengaluru is a hidden gem indeed.
A level two trek with boulders as steps and path that leads you into caves and finally out to the peak. The view from there is worth the twenty minutes trek.
And at every minute of the trail you find yourself drawn by the beautiful views the landscape offers.
The stretch in the cave is so amazing, your eyes automatically adjusts to the dim lighting and you can hear the bat from afar.
After you walk out of the cave, you get to see the enormous Nandi statue and amazing views, ofcourse.
Sit down for a while, take in the views and then continue the trek towards the peak.
The view from there can't be described in words.
A tip for off- roading enthusiasts, you can ride your bikes upto a small temple on the hill.
After a good trek, you can make a quick pitstop to have Thatte Idlis at Bidadi.
PS: The villagers at Kungalu are very kind, so if you need help with directions don't shy away.
