Yana caves Karnataka. Nestled amidst the forest of western ghats. The gigantic limestone Rock formations are a true natural wonder. If you are in and around Gokarna - do plan for a half a day trip to Yana caves. These rocks stand tall and are about 390 feet tall. Best time and season to visit. Morning during the winter season. Summers are harsh. The rainy season is rough as you encounter leeches
Carry a water bottle for sure. It takes about 1 hour from the parking lot to club up. And another 1 hour to explore the caves
Plan for at least 3 hours to get a good glimpse of the caves. The parking lot is close by and there is a small shop selling snacks ( no lunch or breakfast available though )
Cars and bikes go to the parking lot. From Gokarna, it is about 56 km.
