Banaras Handicrafts is a little shop that offers little handicrafts in metal and stone, decorative and kandeel lamps, wall hangings and colourful hookahs in multiple shades and sizes. The place is great mostly for those who are low on budget, but need a hack to spruce up boring corners at home.
They even have a few rustic-looking pots, dholaks and old bowls that can be used as showpieces.
Fair warning: We’re not too sure about the quality of the products (especially all the smoking paraphernalia), and definitely can’t say how long lasting they'll be. As mentioned earlier, this store is a great place to hit up for when you’re out of money and can’t afford to spend too much on home decor.
They also do costume jewellery (which includes necklaces, bangles and earrings) but it is nothing you won’t already find in a regular street market. Also, there’s not a lot of variety available at the moment.
