Chai is an evergreen favourite. Whether you like your basic (but so, so therapeutic) adrak ki chai,  or the very millennial bubble tea, we've found the best places for you to get your fix. Keep reading to know all about Tea places in Delhi.

Side note: Somebody please bring in tea dates as a mainstream, pop-culture activity!

Jugmug Thela

Whether it's their Chocolate Cinnamon Ice Chai or their Kadak Desi Chai, Jugmug Thela is definitely not to be missed on your bucket list of places to go for the best tea in town! Along with these two, you can order a good Chicken Tikka Sandwich or a Wasabi Cream & Pear open sandwich.

Cha Bar

You can find a great bunch of Typhoo teas at Cha Bar! Anything from the soothing Earl Grey, to the invigorating green tea and lemongrass. Also, if you're super desi, then we suggest you give their Tulsi tea a go!

Sancha Tea Boutique

Sancha Tea Boutique is a beautiful experiential tea boutique that sells a variety of tea options! You can get beautiful white teas here like Jasmine white tea, Lavender white tea, and Nilgiri white tea. If you're trying to avoid caffeine, then you'll be happy to know they've got a variety of herbal, zero caffeine teas as well. 

Price: INR 300 upwards. 

Mister Chai

Mister Chai is this beautiful tea shop, located in the Shangri La hotel. If you go here, you will find that they do great, home-like teas like their Meri Apni Cutting Chai, where you can choose your own ingredients like adrak, sauf, or elaichi. And if you're on the no-milk brigade, then we suggest you order their Brilliant Breakfast (a strong, black tea). You can order some great finger sandwiches to go with these amazing options as well. Maybe a Turkey ham, Avacado and Rocket Leaves Sandwich? 

Price: INR 1,500 and above. 


It's most likely that Elma's Tea Room is your jam if you enjoy the idea of tea parties (we mean the Alice in Wonderland sorts). They've got a high tea menu that comes with scones with cream, along with an extensive menu of teas that has everything from Rhododendron, to English Breakfast and Darjeeling tea! 

Price: INR 1,500 for two people. 

PS: It has the prettiest interiors and vibe!

Wagh Bakri Tea Lounge

Wagh Bakri Tea Lounge is your most basic but solid source of chai. The chai they make is reliable and always so, so homely. They make their teas with the perfect balance of chai and milk! It's not some water-y tea that'll give you a headache an hour later, but instead, is a wholesome chai that'll refresh you. At the Wagh Bakri Tea Lounge, you can get anything from Lemon and Cinnamon tea to Assam tea or our favourite Ginger tea. 

Price: INR 650 for two people. 


Starbucks for all Chai lovers, you can get tea how you like it. With over 100 stores in India Chaayos is a leading chai-n (haha!) for tea, their best seller is Desi Chai and you can get a Chilli Cheese Toast to go with it.

Kullhad Chai

Known for serving awesome chai in desi isstyle paired beautifully with their bun maskas! We've heard a lot about their tandoori chai that's served in a kullhad!

Price: INR 300 for two people

Chai Point

Serving kadak garam chai, this place is another great option for all tea lovers. You should try out their Ginger tea and Masala tea, we've heard their Kesar Elaichi chai is also a must-try. Plus, their delivery is on point!

Price: INR 450 for two people
