As we welcome Delhi ki garmi with not-so-open arms, you can best believe Team LBB’s doing everything within our reach to not let the heat get to our heads. From doubling down on sun protection, putting our summer hats to use and dressing in our best summer linens, you can tell hot girl summer’s all over our minds.

And to beat the heat on the inside, there’s nothing better than gorging on a few cold treats every now and then. While ice creams, gelatos, ice lollies and other fancy-schmancy desserts have our heart, nothing beats the hearty falooda when you want something a bit more desi, comforting and indulgent. Imagine- super chilled kulfi (or creamy rabri) topped with vermicelli, syrup and dry fruits for a medley of textures and flavours that never miss the mark. And here are ten places in Delhi serving them the best according to us!

Giani's Di Hatti

The OG falooda spot in Old Delhi’s Chandni Chowk, Giani’s Di Hatti is one of those must-try iconic eateries in the heart of the capital. Their rabdi falooda is extremely famous with crowds lining up to grab their glass of thick luscious rabdi falooda topped over crushed ice. The taste is quite nice and what we like most is that it's not overly sweet so you won't end up with a sugar rush.

Price: INR 125

Timings: 8:30 AM to 10 PM

Zomato Rating: 4.4/5

Roshan Di Kulfi

Roshan Di Kulfi in Karol Bagh (and Rajouri Garden) is another of the iconic spots in Delhi for falooda. Their kulfi falooda is their best-selling item on the menu (thus the name) and is the perfect pick-me on a hot summer afternoon. The kesar pista badam kulfi is served chilled, isn't over sweet and is balanced well with the saffron-hued falooda dripping with sugar syrup. Also, they do a special Mango Kulfi Falooda for summers which is equally delicious along with rabri falooda and a sugarfree kulfi falooda offering.

Price: INR 160

Timings: 8:00 AM to 10 PM

Zomato Rating: 3.8/5

Evergreen

Evergreen's been one of our favourite sweet shops from childhood. It's one of those Delhi sweet shops that have only gotten better with age. The countless weekend visits for chaat, chhole bhature and finally, that irresistible kulfi falooda were everything our childhood food memories were made of. As far as the falooda is concerned, even though they have one type to offer- it's supremely delicious with a saffron-infused kulfi topped with cold falooda with vermicelli, chopped nuts and rooh-afza syrup for that sweet flavour of rose.

Price: INR 119

Timings: 8:00 AM to 10 PM

Zomato Rating: 3.4/5

Sindhi Kulfi Corner

If you are in Lajpat and need something to beat the heat on a sunny shopping day, then simply head to Sindhi Kulfi Corner for their famous Maharaja Rabri falooda. We honestly prefer their rabri falooda over the kulfi falooda 'cause it's super rich and creamy. The falooda comes topped with chopped almonds, rose syrup and tutti-fruity bits, and cools you down post all the walking in Lajpat. Additionally, their flavoured milk is also quite delicious so give that a try too!

Price: INR 60 for kulfi/rabri falooda and INR 120 for the Maharaja Rabri falooda

Timings: 12:30 PM to 12:00 AM

Zomato Rating: 3.8/5

Moets Kulfii

Moets is extremely popular in South Delhi and their kulfi like their other food offerings also kicks the ball out of the park. While their kulfi sticks sell like hot cakes, their Moets Signature Kesar Pista Kulfi falooda is a treat for the tastebuds! Falooda with the chashni soaked vermicelli is served over a bed of scrumptious sliced kulfi pieces, and voila, there you have your summer saviour, waiting to be devoured.

Price: INR 160

Timings: 12:00 PM to 11:30 PM

King's Kulfi

King's Kulfi has outlets all around Delhi which makes it super convenient to order from 'em when you are craving falooda but don't want to step out of your home. they have quite a few interesting options when it comes to falooda. First one is the 'Kulfi Faluda Plain' which is the classic kesar pista kulfi stick topped with falooda, the second one is the 'Kulfi Faluda With Kesar ice Cream', in case you want to give the kulfi a miss, the third one is 'Dryfruit Kulfi Faluda With Kesar Ice Cream' which is basically your usual ice cream sundae but with falooda and the last one is the 'Royal Faluda With Malai Roll Kulfi'.

Kuremal's Kulfi

We came across Kuremal's while scrolling through Reels on Instagram and instantly knew we had to try their stuff out! They claim to be serving kulfi for over a hundred years and the taste of their kulfi does actually justify it. They variety of kulfis they have available might make your head spin so be prepared to be amazed. As far as faloodas are concerned, they have Kesar Pista Falooda, Rabri Falooda and Shahi Falooda, all comforting and sweet in terms of the taste.

Timings: 9:00 AM to 10:30 PM

Standard Rabri Faluda & Shakes

Truth be told, we discovered this falooda place on Instagram and have saved it for our next trip to Rohini. The colourful shop offers some unique falooda concoctions such as butter scotch ice cream falooda, chocolate ice cream falooda, rose vanilla ice cream falooda, as well as the classic kulfi and rabri faloodas, rabri kulfi mix falooda, and shahi falooda with chia seeds. Their faloodas are absolutely yummy; are very sweet, as they should be, so give them a try the next time you are looking for a unique dessert.
