Aslam's Chicken Or Asian Attic, This Food Carnival's Got The Best Of Legendary & New Eateries

What Is It?

Delhi Food Carnival‘s being organised at the India Islamic Culture Centre with the theme”Old Meets New” and there are multiple reasons why we’re excited about it. At this carnival, expect the best of Delhi’s eateries from legendary outlets like Karim’s, Kuremal Kulfi Wale and Kallu Nihari to hip new restaurants like Asian Attic Kitchen, Drool Waffles and Sumo Sushi to serve up a food feast that’s nothing short of extraordinary.

They’ve got music performances, a mini-shopping arcade and they’re hosting food competitions too. Plus, it’s right after Navratri, one more reasons to party no?

Who Is It For?

There’s good food, there’s good Sufi music and this Carnival’s for anyone who loves both. If you’re someone who just needs a reason to go out, hog, shop and have fun, you’re in for a treat at the Delhi Food Carnival.

Been wanting to go Diwali shopping? You can do that too at this carnival where brands like Divino Chocolatier, Illume {for lights and candles}, Pink Winks and Memosa by Mehak Madan {for Indian clothing and accessories} will all be there so you can stock up for festive season.

Why Should I Go For It?

Because well, food. And not just any kind of food but the tender butter chicken from Aslam’s, the flavourful Korma from Karim’s, Cool Point’s sweet, sweet Shahi Tukda, Asian Attic Kitchen’s yum Bento Box, fluffy pancakes by Drool Waffles and more such delish dishes that you won’t stop raving about.

And to keep you entertained while you’re eating your way through the carnival, the organisers have gotten the legendary Nizami Brothers to do a Sufi Qawali performance {on 2nd Oct} and a few more Sufi rock bands to help you unwind like never before.

Still need more reasons? They’re holding a Gol Gappa eating competition, a Vada Pav & a Biryani eating competition that are probably every foodie’s dream come true. If you win, you get goodies and if you lose, well you can’t really lose if you’re having free food right?
