Drifters Cafe Serving Delectable Pan Asian Treats, out of a Truck

Shortcut

Drifters Cafe is the new food truck plying in G-town that specialises in super economical South East Asian Fare.

It’s been driving ‘round town

Ankur Gupta and Saumitra Suryavanshi were friends and then colleagues for 4 years before getting on to the bandwagon {or shall we say, food truck} of plating economical gourmet treats for patrons in Gurgaon, in August 2015. Trying to get out of the QSR bracket of serving only fast food, Drifters Cafe is doing many cuisines – Thai, Japanese, Malaysian, Indonesian and more.

What’s the scene?

They have come up with box meal concepts for customers and have complete meal options in vegetarian and non-vegetarian. The big meals like the Thai/Lamb Randang Curry with steamed rice or the Asian saucy preparations with noodles are sure to tickle your tastebuds, as they fill your tummy. We sure are looking forward to them adding more items on the menu as they experiment and express. For now, you will find limited options on the menu board, because they are focussing on faster delivery, along with quality. And soon, they will also start their home delivery service.

Recommended Asian Delights

The succulent Chicken Dimsums and Vegetable Dimsums flavoured with water chestnut and lemon grass seem to be a hit with  customers. The chefs personally recommend their box meals, especially the quintessential Kung Pao with Hakka Noodles and Thai Green/ Red curry with steamed rice.
