This Cartoon-Themed West Delhi Cafe Will Remind You Of Your Childhood

Kartoon Cafe’s a new cafe-meets-bakery in Janakpuri that has us impressed with its multi-cuisine menu, live music, audio station, a selfie corner and kickass service. 

Italian and Mexican, artisanal coffee, desserts 

The place is a labour of a lot of love and thought, and that's pretty evident. A relaxed ambience with brick walls, stuffed toys and board games, it's an ideal hangout for college kids and families alike. 

There's a well-lit, decorated corner where you can go and click selfies. Going solo? Chill at the music station with four headphones playing different genres of music every day (you can always plug in your phone if you're in the mood for something different). On Friday and Sunday post 6.30pm, their in-house musician plays beats that you'll love.

We've tried (and loved every bite of) the Ben 10 Slurpy Veg Burger, Smurfette Lemongrass and Chilli Dimsums, Genie Bell Herby Veg Platter, hummus croissant (it's not on the menu, but you can ask them for it), blueberry cheesecake, Cinderella Fresh Ginger Ale (so good!) and Oreo Doughnut Shake. (we were clearly a famished lot). Meat lovers, we hear the Iron Man Eats Lamb Burger and Bageera Fiery Non Veg Platter are delectable.

Some of their dishes had a small portion size, but the folks here assured us that they're working on it.

Weight watchers, keep this place on your radar since they're soon introducing a healthy menu that's complete with wheat pastas and pizzas, protein shakes and even sugar-free cookies to take home.
