A traditional style of painting originating from Rajasthan, Phad Art are scrolls painted on a cloth or canvas. The art depicted here predominantly revolves around Rajasthani folk deities, Pabuji and Devnarayan.
The masterclass will be conducted by a renowned artist from Bhilwara, Rajasthan, Kalyan Joshi. He has not only excelled this traditional art but has also played a significant role in the revival and sustenance of this vibrant art form.
Starting from the 9th of January, there will four segments to the class, beginning with the introduction to Phad paintings.
