What Makes It Awesome

For those of you who are worried about not having great decor and gifts at your event, The Gifts Garage will make sure you have a blast and furnish you with some great party DIY kits & favours to send back with your guests! Having originally started as an event company (known as Infinitus), the founders Savita and Nilambari were struggling to source party decorations to go with the themes of their parties. Therefore, they decided to start a decor store to DIY it called The Gifts Garage. From up-cycled newspaper baskets to recycled cup holders, the duo works with rural women from Pondicherry to create the decorations, which is their way of giving back to society.

Their DIY gift baskets and party kits are by far the best sellers because not only do they work as perfect party or event giveaways, you can also use what's in the basket as decor for your home or home parties! Like mentioned everything in a their premium gift boxes are handmade and come in various themes -- eco-friendly (handmade baskets, plantable paper products, upcycled decor, planters) to quirky boxes (lanterns, potpourri, votives, candles, tea lights). Ranging between INR 375 to INR 2,000, you’ll find that their products are reasonably priced, and can be customised to match any theme for a guest list of any size, corporate events too!

The Gifts Garage also organises parties (limited in number), and props for kiddie parties (but they will take on the occasional kitty, if you ask nicely), they'll also arrange Insta-worthy anniversaries, or anything with a theme really.

Pro-Tip

Making a purchase from The Gifts Garage also supports another noble cause! On a weekly basis, the brand conducts workshops, teaching various artforms to the mentally disadvantaged at the Seva In Action NGO. The products that are created as part of these workshops are then added to the gift boxes and promoted to corporates and other clients. The money made from selling these small gifts are then sent back to their creators.
