What Makes It Awesome

Their collection is MASSIVE. You basically walk into a house, and there's a 1000sq ft odd room dedicated to carpets in all sizes, colours and makes. I was specifically looking for dhurries (I find them more durable/easy to maintain) with patterns that aren't what you typically find, and in colours other than blue, black, beige, grey. Yak had a fantastic collection of dhurries with geometrical patterns, in really pleasant pastels. The gentleman who runs it - an elderly man- is warm, chatty and spent time taking us through his collection.

What Could Be Better?

I went to 4-5 stores in search for nice dhurries- including Fabindia, Cottons and satins - but didn't find anything that I liked. I actually found Yak on LBB, and though the entrance looked kinda seedy, found exactly what I needed there. So yes, happy with what I found, and nothing could've been better.

What's My Pro Tip?

Don't forget to bargain :)

Anything Else?

It's pretty reasonably priced. I spent about INR 8000 on a approx 4ftx3ft carpet, which was cheaper than the other options I'd found.
