This Pet-Friendly Lakefront Cafe At Gandipet Is Going To Be Your Favourite Soon!

If one of your core happy memories growing up in Hyderabad was hanging out at the Tank Bund, we've got good news for you! The Labyrinth Lakefront at Gandipet preserves that laid back charm of chilling by a lake coupled with great aesthetics and a welcoming vibe. This stunning lakefront cafe is pet-friendly and has ample open space for you to take a walk alongside the beautiful Gandipet lake, or chill by yourself at peace. 

The ambience reminds you of a bohemian haven complete with rattan chairs made with recycled plastic, bamboo arches and pinewood furniture. The furniture offsets the lush greenery perfectly, making you feel welcome in an instant. The space is equally stunning at nights, with fairy lights and pretty trees to keep you company. If you'd like a view of the lake though, try coming in a little early. Get here around 4pm or even 5pm, so you can walk around with your fur buddy, catch the sunset and breathe in some fresh air before sundown.

We love that they have a tiny glass-walled indoor space as well, so you're not losing out on the view while being comfortable indoors. The limited menu includes standard finger foods like fries, chicken starters and nachos. Do try their fried chicken, which we found better than their other starters. 

They're also available for you to book the space out for private parties. 

For a cafe that's so inviting with excellent service, the food is pretty average. 

Getting There: Being one of the first cafes in Gandipet that gives you a good view of the lake, it's slightly tricky to get to, with narrow streets leading up to the place. We recommend you get to Meluha International School near the premises and call them for directions. While it could seem like a spot that's far away from the city, you can easily drive up the Outer Ring Road, enjoy the stunning rock formations along the way and make it a long drive with your buddies or bae on a weekend.
