Let's talk facts, people — Hitech City has always had awesome bars and restaurants but not many cafes. In fact, whenever we wanted to hang out at a cafe that serves up more than just finger food, we've had to hop over to other locations. But, not anymore. Roast The Caffeine Capital is an all-new cafe that opened up in Hitech City. Two reasons why we're loving it: great desserts and Instagram-worthy ambience.
We stumbled upon Roast when we found out that Desserts & Co.(a dessert brand) is serving up its delicacies at Roast. From macarons to gelatos, it is a paradise for any dessert lover. When we were done gawking at the tarts and cheesecakes, we moved on to checking out their ambience. While the indoors are decked up with books, wall art, and comfortable sofas, the outdoors are done up with plants. And that's where we'd like to hang out!
Pair their aromatic coffee with Danish pastries or muffins. As the beans are freshly grounded at the cafe, the wafting fragrance is quite something. Definitely try Cinnamon Swirl and Kaapi Royale. Apparently, they also serve up Coffee Beer which we haven't tried, but if you do, let us know how you like it? You can also get your hands on their pavs, sourdough bread, French baguettes, focaccia, and loaves.
A great mix of comfort food and exotic delicacies, we'd recommend swinging by Roast The Caffeine Capital for an elaborate lunch. We found their Classic Tomato & Basil Bruschetta to be quite refreshing. Their Grilled Three-Cheese Sandwich too comes with heavenly helpings of sriracha sauce. Psst. They also have Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich.
While the cafe cooks up pasta, we wanted to try Dhansak Risso — Roast's take on an iconic Gujarati Dish. Served with chips and salad, this is a meal you'll go back for. And then there's Bangers & Mash where chicken sausages are tossed in onion gravy and veggies. But what stood out for us is their Cordon Bleu and Misal Pav Fondue because both the dishes were quite experiential.
