Rejoice Rejoice! Because Gusto Pizza is in town! A friend of mine told me about this place and I had to try it out since it is very rare to see such standalone pizzerias coming up in Kolkata.
This one's a cloud kitchen situated in Lake Market and opened in September 2020. I was jumping with joy when I found out they have options in thin crust, normal crust and cheese burst variants. Meat lovers are not going to look somewhere else once they try out Gusto's thin crust peppy pork pepperoni pizza (which is what I ordered too!). The medium one is a 10-incher with six slices but it is extremely filling even though it's a thin crust.
I was heavily impressed by the bacon and ham story pizza in normal crust, firstly because of the amount of topping and secondly the cheese, which is better than most of the places in the city. This apart, non-vegetarians can try the Hawaiian pork, meat supremo and keema loaded pizzas among other options. For vegetarians, there are options such as the tikka terminator, Fungi forest, pesto paneer and E=M*Cheese2.
For sides, there are multiple options to choose from such as the Oh So Hot wings, Peri Peri chicken wings, BBQ Bae wings, Spicy Mango chicken wings, garlic parmesan wings (highly recommended!), crispy chilli babycorn, chicken mozilla, cheesy chicken popcorns, spicy paneer on fries, French fries the cheesy way and potato wedges.
