For the 6th edition of ‘One Day-One Story’, 5400+ volunteers will be conducting storytelling sessions across India and the world. The story chosen for this year is ‘Kottavi Raja and his Sleepy Kingdom’, written by Yasaswini Sampathkumar and illustrated by Henu Mehtani. This is the story of a king who has trouble sleeping at night, but is sleepy throughout the day. Many of the events conducted by the champions are open to the public.
