What Makes It Awesome?

Craving for some authentic Nepali food? Bamey's Restro Cafe is the spot to hit on. A small hole in the wall place with friendly staff and amazing food in Koramangala.

I had my hands on Jhol Momos, Momo platter, Bhuj Momos, Aloo Dum with Sel Roti and Thupka.

Jhol is a peanut-based gravy where you dip your momos and eat. They also have a magic masala powder which is a secret ingredient and been added to the Jhol and many other dishes. This is made from Timur pepper of Nepal. Bhuj Momos were one of the spiciest dishes I've ever had. They use Bhot Jhalokia peppers to prepare the dish.

Aloo Dum with Sel Roti is a Darjeeling originated dish, Sel Roti is Nepali, where the bread is cooked with rice. This Sel Roti is topped with Aloo Dum, the perfectly made Aloo Dum with a red chilli base and mild in spice is too good.

Thupka here is inspired by Ramen and one bowl of it is our whole meal. It has noodles, peanuts, veggies and magic masala. This is the most recommended dish.

The place is small and the taste is huge, with Nepali music on the background, one can enjoy their meal.

How Much Did It Cost?

₹500 - ₹1,000
