In this festival dedicated to steamed buns aka Chinese baos, The Fatty Bao is pulling out all stops to experiment with delicious fillings and stuffings. Vegetarians, take your pick from Spicy Wild Mushroom and Chickpea bao {drizzled with chilli garlic mayo}, the Mock Meat and Bell Pepper {slathered with black bean sauce}, Cheesy Kimchi, Potato bao or the Fried Eggplant bao {marinated with mayo, served with kimchi and drizzled with Sriracha sauce}.

The bao factor

Carnivores, look no further than the Braised Beef Cheeks bao served with kimchi aioli, the Pulled Pork bao with curry sauce, fried egg and Kaffir lime or the Lamb Char-Grilled Bao with lamb meatballs and a chilli-tamarind glaze. Apart from the menu regular the Char Siu bao, you can also look out for Wasabi Fish boa, Five Spice Fried Chicken bao, and a boa stuffed with Chilli Crab and Prawn. Bao! That's a lot of wow.
