Tucked away from the busy Mahatma Gandhi Road, on the Church Road of Bangalore is a restaurant that offers you a placid spot on a platform which is 20 feet above the road. With wooden floors and antique structures, the place offers an old-school Mexican movie ambience.
Popularly known for its non-veg cuisines, the restaurant is mostly visited for their lip-smacking mid-noon buffet. However, I was a bit late to reach the place, and that was the grace. The buffet was over and so was the crowd. I was free to select my choice of seat, and the spot reminded me of the Ethiopian classy restaurants where people walk-in to spare a whole morning by sipping their specially brewed coffee.
If you're looking for a whole feast, do not miss the buffet. For me, the treat started with a complimentary lemonade, and that too even before placing my order. If not the buffet, the next best that one can try at 20 Feet High is their yummy chicken sizzlers; and that's what I munched on to that afternoon.
