Tuck Into Scrumptious Delicacies From Across India At This Food Festival

What Is It?

The 7 Plates 7 Chefs festival at Ayna, the Hilton hotel’s Pan-Indian fine dining restaurant, features the best of the best. And by that we mean seven chefs from across seven Hilton hotels in the country are bringing their cuisines to your table. So Chennaites, this is a great chance to get a taste of rich, flavourful dishes from all over India.

While the festival has already begun you can still make it in time for the rest as it goes on till May 27. Started on May 14, how it works is that every two days a menu specific to particular area is featured. It started with food from UP by Chef Manish Kulshreshtha and we got to try Maharashtra cuisine by Chef Mangesh Ghanekar which was heavenly. The rest includes food from Kerala, Rajasthan, Pune, Delhi and Bengal, so you don’t want to miss this!

Who Is It For?

For those who want to soak up the different cultures of India, in the form of food! This fest is a delight to anyone who enjoys fine dining and would like to explore the different cuisines of the country. Pick your favourite from what’s coming up and dig in!

Why Should I Go For It?

Because we guarantee it will be amazing. From what we had in the Mumbai menu, we fell in love with the flavours of Maharashtra. We tucked into delicious meaty appetisers like Bohri Keema Kebab and Prawn Koliwada, mains with buttery chapati dunked in creamy Malwani chicken curry.  And dessert included melt-in-mouth poli and sinfully good shrikand {strained yoghurt with cardamom and sugar.} This sort of has set the standard for the rest of the festival and we think it’ll be just as good, maybe even better. So don’t wait, just go!
