The swimming complex at Velachery was built in 1995 by the state government. It is an outdoor pool and a fitness centre with an indoor hall for gymnastics as well. You can access this pul on an hourly or membership basis, and the price is the same for all ages. Let us tell you about their facilities, the pool has two sections, a main pool with a maximum depth of 6 feet and a separate kids' area with a small slide. The area has a few staff always present to ensure safety. The water quality is pretty average and there is plenty of parking space. However, you may struggle a bit initially to find this spot especially on google maps, it is located behind a house.
