The Cango Store located on the third floor of Grand Square Mall, Velachery deals with a varied line of products imported from Japan. Zakka toys to baby bags to electronic items - you will have an offbeat collection of home essentials at this store. You might want to take all the time you need to patiently check all of them out, so dedicate at least twenty minutes of your time to this two-floor store next time you go to Grand Square.
Handbags for women, kids, shoulder bags for all, sequin wallets, pouches and slings- The Cango Store has them all starting from INR 150. We especially liked the polka dot backpack for children. Water bottles in plastic and steel, cutlery, grooming kit for women and storage bags are some highlights for this store. Their coffee mugs and soup bowls are adorably colourful and start from INR 69 only. We also dig their stationery, especially the A4 size Tiger sketchbook with 200 pages at just INR 240. Their notebooks with cat and dog covers are really appealing too.
The Cango Store's jewellery collection was surprisingly great. We did not expect a homeware store to have such good ones. We especially liked their antique hair clips and sunflower earrings. The prices start from INR 100. Although, few of them were not in good condition. The second floor of the store had Japanese toys, mostly stuffed animals. We loved their pink Barbie doll with a flowy feathered gown and the printed stuffed dog that can be a great cuddle toy.
