Alamkrita houses some traditionally painted and handcrafted vases. Some come with flamboyant colours and motifs but then if you are a lover of black then you will get all the colours of the earth that you are looking for. These come covered with Kalamkari paintings, nature painting and Jamini Roy styled portraits and are priced at INR 1000 onwards. Some vases even come with mirror and stone works! Can you imagine embroidered patterns on a clay vase? We didn't either but they managed to surprise us.
If you are looking to light up your house then Alamkrita has got some pretty lanterns to light it up! You can go for plain table lamps with applique shades or you could go for a more contemporary looking wooden carved base. Some of them are painted to give a 3D effect.
