What Makes It Awesome
We’re all getting a bit bored by mass-produced clothes and Keerthana started Arodhi knowing just that. She had a bunch of quirky designs in here head a few years ago, and now, you can buy them.
Arodhi’s clothes are mostly Indo-western, they look chic and ethnic all at once. Keerthana uses natural fabrics like cotton, jute, chanderi, and khadi to make these quirky clothes. The dhoti jumpsuit is selling out really fast, she says, mainly because they come in bright colours and are baggy and comfortable. These are priced from INR 1,800. The waistcoat with multicoloured checks will look amazing when paired with one of these jumpsuits.
We also love her collection of handkerchief dresses, which come with side buttons and pleats. If you love twirl-worthy dresses in pastel shades, check out Arodhi’s collection of summer dresses in pink, yellow, and blue. These flared dresses in striped cotton start from INR 1,200 and are #OOTD goals. Keerthana will stitch up your old sari or fabric into new dresses, so make your own quirky clothes!
Pro-Tip
You can buy Arodhi’s merch from 5th Avenue in Besant Nagar and Fouress Boutique in Adyar. If you want customised clothes, call her and place an order in advance.
