Azzuri Bay is a rooftop casual dining restaurant located in Adyar. We think it is THE restaurant for a romantic candlelight dinner with bae! Started a few years ago, it became popular for its beautiful ambience and rooftop vibes. Whether you want to do a cosy, rooftop candle-light dinner or hang with your fam, the setting is magical and the menu decently-priced. The ambience, apart from the rooftop itself, is quite classy with ample space to accommodate about 130 people at a time and includes a waterbody, fountains and a Zen-like Buddha.
If you want to sit in the AC away from the humidity, then there is an indoor seating arrangement as well. For your dinner plans, they will even arrange for a celebratory decor and gifts upon prior ordering. The restaurant overlooks lush treetops and the beautiful Adyar estuary (where the river meets the sea) — the view from Azzuri Bay is just gorgeous.
Azzuri Bay serves continental and Asian food, and the staff here are non-intrusive, quick and helpful. We recommend the Garlic Pepper Fish and the vegetarian combo platter which includes small bites such as Thai rolls for starters. Try out their delicious pizzas and grilled Italian shrimps as mains, and make sure you slip in a double chocolate gelato or a Mississippi mud-pie for dessert to get in those extra brownie points from bae. Some people say that the Tiramisu they have tried here is apparently the best in the town.
