Located adjacent to the Rani hall, Raja Muthiah Hall looks just like Rani Hall but with an accommodation capacity of about 700 guests. They've got rooms for accommodation and parking too. Catering and decor is your lookout. You can also book both the halls if you're indeed planning for a big, fat Indian wedding. 

Among the more elegant looking event venues in the city, Mayor Ramanathan Chettiar Hall in Santhome offers a storage capacity of about 1000 guests split across the main hall and dining area. There are about 7 airconditioned rooms too and a parking space of about 200-odd vehicles. They handle the catering and it's only vegetarian food. Price per plate is available upon request.
