Spectra - The Leela Palace

Brunch at The Spectra involves a massive spread across six different cuisines – Indian, Thai, Japanese, Mediterranean, Chinese and Italian apart from a seemingly never ending selection of desserts. You can custom create salads, chaat, stir-fries, appams, pizzas, pastas and even sous-vide your veggies and meats! They’ve a comprehensive drinks menu for their alcoholic brunch and if you’re feeling especially fancy, you can opt for their champagne brunch.

The Flying Elephant – Park Hyatt

The Brunch at The Flying Elephant is an elaborate affair with counters spread across all seven levels of their restaurant. If you’re not up for a walk, no problem! The Flying Elephant has a brunch ‘menu’ on every table so you can order whatever you want from the live stations, whether it’s wood-fired pizza, custom cocktails, Indian breads and parathas, chaat, waffles, pancakes churros, right from your table. They also have al-fresco seating which is lovely when the weather permits.

Kipling Café

Kipling Café, in OMR, is a bit of a drive, but perfect if you’re truly looking to getaway for the weekend. Their outdoor seating is both romantic and family friendly, and their generous portions will ensure that you spend some time there soaking up the atmosphere. We can’t get enough of their pizzas and fantastic Thai food. They’ve a bar as well, so you can polish your meal off with a few beers. If you’re looking to chill this weekend, head to Kipling café!

Ashvita Bistro

If you’re looking for something indulgent but easy on the pocket, Ashvita Bistro has all the answers. They’ve a Sunday Brunch spread that comprises unlimited eggs made-to-order, hash browns, pancakes, momos, pasta, fresh juice, Thai curry and cakes. Their outdoor seating and laid back vibe will make sure you’ve a totally relaxed Sunday.

Chap Chay

Why not go all out Asian for brunch? Chap Chay doesn’t have a spread, but it does offer a set menu that includes appetisers, dim sum, soup and dessert apart from their unlimited stir-fry! This is one brunch that you really want to make sure you have an appetite for. Alcohol is served, but is not a part of the set menu.

Madras Pavilion - ITC Grand Chola

A common favourite, this restaurant at ITC Grand Chola, serves some amazing desserts along with their North Indian and continental cuisines. Their breakfast buffet is a lavish spread of goodies from different cuisines. The Madras Pavilion hosts Sunday brunches for INR 2500 which includes unlimited non-alcoholic drinks and a buffet. They serve nasi goreng, which is originally a thai breakfast, alongside bacon and eggs and many more delish varieties.

Vasco's Hilton

The gem of the Hilton Chennai, this restaurant serves up some super tasty buffets. We love their Asian food, which includes awesome khao suey and shrimp laksa. Their buffets start at INR 850 + Taxes and goes on till INR 1845 + Taxes. We absolutely loved the variety of cuisines they offer and their desserts are absolutely divine. Their Sunday Brunches are a must try !

Shiraz Art Cafe Tryst

Touted to be Chennai’s first Persian restaurant, Shiraz Art Cafe comes with authentic food, great ambience and a lovely view of the Neelangarai beach along ECR. Their Sunday Brunches are just INR 900 and they serve up awesome seafood and non-veg options by the beach!

The Kitchen - Raintree

This fine dine restaurant in the Raintree hotel serves up a lavish Sunday Brunch. Sip on unlimited drinks and enjoy some awesome continental and Asian cuisine for INR 1961 with non-alcoholic drinks and INR 2467 with alcoholic drinks. Their prawns spaghetti pasta is too good and their rice paper rolls just melt in your mouth! 

Svar - Turyaa

The continental and Italian options in the Sunday Brunch menu at this restaurant is totally worth the drive to Perungudi. With options like Jumbo italian prawns and tangy Marinara pasta Svar serves up a Sunday Brunch priced at just INR 1350. There are unlimited non-alcoholic drinks, so sip on the Virgin Mohito and enjoy the serenity.
