Dandy is a men’s clothing store in Besant Nagar, Anna Nagar, and Choolaimedu and is a popular destination for budget shoppers, thanks to its reasonably priced yet quality inventory of branded misprints and export surpluses.

What Makes It Awesome

Before we talk about what’s available, you must know that right down to the tags and stickers the clothes have no spelling mistakes or open stitching and can pass off as something you’d see in a high-end store. Their sizing is on point too, with slim fit options being available for most apparel. As for their inventory, they have everything you could want for any casual outing. Collared Van Heusen T-shirts for INR 850, Nike track pants for INR 750, collared SuperDry tees for INR 600, Under Armour full sleeve compression wear for INR 1,000, Zara Man shirts for INR 750, Pepe Jeans T-shirts for INR 550 and more! That’s not even covering jeans, undergarments, and accessories. Their collection of jeans is brand new and comes in a range of fits and colours. A pair of denim jeans from Jack & Jones starts from INR 1,200. Fcuk and Van Heusen briefs are available for INR 300. Please note that the store does not encourage haggling.

One of the nice things about Dandy is that their stock is updated every month. So expect to find new brands every now and then. We particularly liked their colourful tees from Solly Sport and can’t wait to see what further ones they pick up. They’ve got a few other odds and ends too, like footwear, socks, belts, and wallets, but we weren’t too impressed by that side of things. We were however blown away by the quality of the clothes they had, so much so that we might have spent more than an hour in that tiny little shop and bought a little too much. The coolest part about the store is that even with all of their low prices, they had a clearance section for shirts which had Zara Men Shirts going for as low as INR 650.

Pro-Tip

While export surplus stores are really great places to find those one-of-a-kind outfits and also your favourite high street brands, but it all depends on stocks received, so you may or may not be in luck every time you visit.
