Every brand has a story and this one started in a balcony. Technically a jewellery designer, Neethi Anna Fernandes decided to take an alternate route when she moved from Jaipur to Goa and started experimenting with wooden frames at home. Soon she found herself making buffet cutlery for hotels and House Of Anna Fernandes was born. Today, this Goan label has a small workshop managed by Fernandes and two other craftsmen, playing around with wood to create decor pieces not just for hotels and cafes but also daily use objects for people like you and me.
I personally love how simple and neat their designs are. Their wall clocks and table lamps look super rustic! If you're looking for something smaller - check out their wooden mobile stands and cutlery holders. Ooh, they've got boom boxes too. Just put your speakers in and you've got the perfect sound setup for your house parties. You can also take your pick from teakwood tealight holders (available in a range of geometric shapes), wooden shelves, rustic wall planters, masala boxes, cake holders - all handcrafted and polished by Fernandes and her team. Prices start from INR 549.
Not to forget, all their products are PU-coated, so you easily wash and clean them without having to worry about the polish fading. 'Our products have been designed keeping functionality and durability in mind and will easily last you for 10-15 years, says Neethi who also does customised pieces upon request. They also take up lesser space, in case you were wondering about the size and weight. You can shop for their tealight holders and mobile stands, right here on LBB.
