If you love Asian food, you have to check out Chap Chay at The Rain Tree, St. Mary’s Road. We are talking custom (and unlimited) stir fry buffet!

What Makes It Awesome

Pan-asian food lovers, you've got to head to Chap Chay once. Their unlimited stir-fry buffet will make you jump with joy. Here, you will get to pick a bowl, and then choose the ingredients to build your own stir-fry. They have a selection of 16 different vegetables like zucchini, bok choy, peppers, sweet corn, onions, edamame, lotus root, mushrooms and more (the selection keeps changing depending on the season), eight different kinds of meat, and four kinds of noodles that you can add into your bowl.

Once you’ve constructed your stir fry, you then have to select the sauce that you want your ingredients to be cooked in. Chap Chay has18 sauces classified into three categories – super spicy, ambrosial, and classics. You can also choose to add in rice (if you don’t prefer noodles), or have an egg scrambled in. You can even tell the chef that you’d like other customisations, like say, lower (or increase) the spiciness in the sauce, or to add an ingredient, like tofu or cashew nuts.

We love this as you can come up with a number of stir-fry combinations. It’s also fantastic for picky-eaters because you get to choose exactly what ingredients go into your stir-fry. Vegetarian-friendly, vegan-friendly, carnivore friendly, even gluten-free friendly, we strongly recommend Chap Chay. Cost for the unlimited stir-fry comes to INR 1099 (plus tax).

If you’re really up for a stomach bursting challenge, don’t miss their Wok Menu deal. For INR 1,499 (plus tax),  you will get a soup, a salad, five different appetizers (3 veg and 2 non-veg), 3 main course options and 3 desserts. Chap Chay also has a comprehensive a la carte menu, so loosen your belt and get ready to thulp.
