When life offers you frequent metro rides, you just take it boss! According to a recent report in The Hindu, the Chennai Central Metro Rail station is all set to be operational in a few weeks, which means that commuters will then be able to have access to trains every 5 minutes {currently they have access every 10 and 15 minutes} at metro rail stations in the city. The frequency is likely to increase during peaks hours between 8.30am and 10.30am and 5pm, 8 pm and 10.30pm. And you can also take the metro from the Chennai Central station to the airport for just INR 70 and get there in 45 minutes. Yippee!
