At BSNL & Postal Community Hall in Anna Nagar, the Dakshini Society's Durga Puja will create an enchanting atmosphere with lively drumbeats and ornate decorations. The event has grown significantly since its inception in 1995 and is celebrating their 30 years this year.
The festivities feature religious rituals, morning puja, and aarti, along with chandi homam and sindur khela on the last two days. The pandal is renowned for its tasty offerings, including authentic Bengali snacks, luchi with cholar dal, pulao, hara dal, rasgulla, and fish-based dishes.
Celebrity artists from Kolkata and Bollywood are all set to create an electrifying environment with their performances this year. This year, they are expecting a footfall of around 2,00,000 – 3,00,000 devotees per day.
