Gotcha! It is a story on dosas, indeed. But you will NOT be disappointed with the brand in focus today. Named DA (Dosa Awesome) Kadai, this is an online-delivery-eatery as well as a food truck that parks opposite Express Avenue.
We met DA Kadai at a pop-up in Chennai and ended up thanking the gods for that encounter, for, we were really hungry and the hot dosas they served us just made our day. They have over 40 varieties of dosas, Schezwan paneer to gobi manchurian, plain paper roast to pizza dosa and more. Our favourite was their Pizza Dosa and it happens it is their best seller too. Their dosas are hot, spicy and cut into tiny, easily-eatable pieces that kinda revolutionises the Chennai’s dosa eating scene. Served with three types of Chutney (green, red AND white) that only accentuates the already spicy dosas, they are a must-try if you are a Dosa lover. We also found chocolate dosa in the menu, btw.
The dosas start from INR 60 (the plain ones) and go up to INR 150. Considering the size of the dosas, we think it delivers great value for money. It is very common to spot them at the pop-ups at that happen in Buva House, Nungambakkam- so the next time you attend any of those, have an eye-out for DA Kadai!
