China Town is one of the city's best-kept secrets. This place reminds one of the authentic Chinese restaurants of yesteryears with its distinct old world charm. The Chinese paper lanterns and red upholstery at the restaurant can fool you into believing that the food served here will have an Indian taste to it but that is true only until you taste it. The delicacies served here taste fairly authentic with just the right flavours. Despite the inclination of food's flavours to the native country, it pleases the spice-loving palate of the natives. I just loved everything from dim sum and soups to fried rice.
No One Does Chinese Better Than This Eatery In Gopalapuram
What Makes It Awesome
What Could Be Better?
The entrance is like a dingy passage and quite hidden, they should light it up more so that people can locate it easily.
What's My Pro Tip?
Everyone should try their prawn dim sum, chicken manchow soup, and kung pao chicken. For vegetarians, their stir fry in eight spices is a great dish.
Anything Else?
The place is crowded on weekends, especially during dinner hours. A meal for two here will not cost anything over INR 1000.
