New Bistro Alert! ECR Folks, Head Here For Yummy Crab Samosas & Caramel Cheese Cake

Hub is a cosy little bistro located at the heart of ECR and has something for everyone — from crab samosas to porky pizzas, and dessert too.

If you’re a fan of pretty bistros with gorgeous lighting {gorgeous hanging rope lighting in this case}, then you need to check out Hub — ECR’s newest restaurant. Long diner style seating with some colourful tables and chairs also thrown into the mix, the aesthetic here is contemporary and comfortable. Whether you like hanging out by yourself or with bae in your own little nook, or want to do some community table sharing with other diners, there is seating for every kind of you. Coming here with your squad? Then pick from their bigger seating areas with a mix of chairs and sofas. Don’t forget to check out additional colourful decor in the form of their hanging hand painted desi kettles and other vintage knick knacks.

The menu here is quite exciting and big. Start with the soups right away and don’t forget to try the rich and creamy Mushroom Bisque with fresh cream froth with a hint of truffle. The Crab Samosas with Hickory BBQ Chutney here is a must-try. The samosas are stuffed with crabmeat and deep fried, and are to be mopped up with a smokey BBQ chutney. If you love yourself kebabs, then might we suggest that you go all out on their Tandoori non vegetarian platter, which comes with an assortment of kebabs such as malai, seekh, tikka and more. Even in December you’ll love their cooling range of mocktails, starting at INR 200. You could go for the usual Mint and Green Apple coolers, but our recommendation would be the Watermelon cocktail which is off the menu and needs to be requested. And if you’re in the mood for some Italian cuisine for your mains, we recommend their Linguine Chicken Carbonara Pasta or the Hub’s Classic Pepperoni, a thin crust pizza with plenty of cheese on top. Yum! There’s also pasta, risotto, sandwiches, and steaks to pick from along with some hearty north Indian and Mughlai curries.

Ignore everything else on the dessert menu and go straight for the Caramel Cheese Cake. This dessert, served with fresh fruits and ice cream, is a hot favourite and comes with a  mix of sweet and saltiness.

Although there is no alcohol available {we’ll just have to do with mocktails for now}, the eatery comes with ample parking space and even free WiFi. Which means this could be a perfect pit stop if you are hitting ECR on a road trip with the fam or squad.
