Started in 1953, Hyderabad's age-old bakery, Karachi Bakery, has come a long way from just selling butter biscuits and cookies. We loved it then and love it now. The way the bakes melt in your mouth has been made a signature by the bakery, and the Nungambakkam outlet, with its cafe set up, is making us fall in love with their munchies and quick bites too.
Offering all kinds of scrumptious varieties like the light Osmania biscuits, nutty Badam Pista, rich Chocolate, flavoursome Almond Biscotti and delectable Double Delight and more (yes, we tried them all), Karachi Bakery will definitely make your snack time more flavourful. For those of you who are looking for a more healthy indulgence, check out their quinoa, oats and millets cookies with nuts. You must also try out their rusk varieties that come flavoured with Indian spices such as sesame, elaichi (cardamom), fruit, methi (fenugreek), saunf (aniseed) as well as flavours like cheese garlic and plain milk sweet rusks.
Karachi Bakery also offers freshly baked, spongy treats to please your palate. From fluffy muffins and fresh cream pastries to simple and richly-flavoured sponge cakes in red velvet, marble, and plain vanilla flavours - you have quite a range to choose from. They also have frosted cakes and mini cupcakes to give you that sugar rush. Putting that aside, the cafe menu has some filling burgers, sandwiches and puffs to give you the full meal experience. There's pizza, salads, fries and soups too. You can also order some milkshakes, thick shakes or cold coffee to down your food!
