Want To Learn How To Surf In Pondicherry? Then Kallialay Surf School Is Where You Need To Be

What Makes It Awesome

Learning how to surf from trainers Juan, who runs Kallialay Surf School with his brother, was a lot of fun. I definitely recommend this surfing school to all surfing enthusiasts.

What's My Pro Tip?

They have several packages available; I would suggest taking up the 5-day course like I did. A one-day session, no matter where you take it, is usually just a gimmick. If you love being in the water and do not mind getting a few bruises {ok, maybe a lot}, take the plunge, pun intended!

Also, do check their website for surf forecasts - { http://www.surfschoolindia.com/?utm_source=LBB&ref=lbbpost }.

Anything Else?

Pondicherry is a lovely, laid-back place. I spent a week there surfing, cycling all over the town with no agenda during the day and sitting in my room and working on my novel with a view of the Bay of Bengal outside my balcony at night. If you are the kind of person who gets bored easily, this is not the place for you. If you are like me, this is heaven, a very, very sunny heaven.
