What Makes It Awesome
It is hard not to take pictures at Little White Kitchen, a cafe at Kilpauk that has Instagrammable walls and decor. With pop colours and a special photo booth, this place is a hit with the Instagram generation. But you could easily miss the place which is bang in the middle of a residential area. And the quirkiness of this cafe translates to the unusual dishes on their menu too!
Like the ulta pizza, which is basically cheese and masala filled in between the crust. Our absolute favourite was the burrito bowl, with comes with an overdose of mayonnaise. The pan-fried momo was spicy and well cooked, in contrast to the Thai-style momo that was served in coconut-based Thai curry.
For those who want to try a little Lebanese, go for the pita bread that is served with three different flavours of the hummus -- beetroot, basil and the original. Just want one filling meal? Try Kuber Kulacha which comes with dal, raita, chole and a mithai. Their Smokey Mushroom Bhurjee Chip is for those who like fusion food. Wash all this down with their freshly made sugarcane juice or the zingy pink lemonade.
