What Is It?

Local XO, along with Rutland Gate Yoga Studio, have put together a curated yoga retreat set in the heart of the beautiful and picturesque Anamalai hills, Tamil Nadu. It is a three-day getaway to Valparai Hills, that is a part of the Anamalai range {which is a two-and-a-half-hour drive from Coimbatore}. You will need to make arrangements up till Coimbatore and from there you’ll be picked up by the crew.

Once there, you can expect to indulge in Hatha Yoga twice a day while in the heart of the hills with an expert yoga instructor from Rutland Gate for a rejuvenating 75-90 minute session. The retreat is set in a British tea estate, now transformed into  Sinna Dorai’s Bungalow that still follows the finest traditions of the typical plantation life and serves excellent food. It is said to be one of the most picturesque and luxurious places to stay in the Annamalai Hills of Tamil Nadu.
