Tucked away in the lanes opposite the Madras High Court is a small platform shop run by a woman that sells different types of vintage coins.
She has coins from the Chola period to the 10 rupee coins commemorative edition. She even has 5 kaasu and 10 kaasu that she sells for as little as 10 ruppes per coin. The earlier period coins are priced at 200-400 rupees.
