Mother’s day is around the corner and if you haven’t gotten her anything, we highly suggest spending time with her on Mother’s Day. Better still you can pamper her with spa treatments and brunches or engage in fun group activities too. To that end we’ve come up with 5 things you can do with mum on Mother’s day.

Take Her To The Spa

Mother’s day is great day to take your mum to the spa, there’s plenty of offers going around and we found two that we thought were the most exciting. Senza the spa and designer salon in Besant Nagar has a buy-one-get-one-free offer this month for all mums. So you can stop by Senza for a nice relaxing massage and get one for your mum for free! Naturals has an offer too, at INR 5,000, you can get a care package for your mum that includes a facial, pedicure, manicure, hair spa and body massage! Bliss, we think.

Take Her Out For A Nice Meal

For families that find love through their stomachs, we highly recommend going out for a brunch. With this year’s mother’s day falling on a Sunday, we found three really cool brunch offers across the city that you can take your mum to. The Flying Elephant in Park Hyatt has a mother’s day brunch for INR 2,400 that is 50 percent off for all mums!  And Colony, the multi-cuisine restaurant at Raintree, St Mary’s Road has a flat 25 percent off on their brunch spread if you bring your mum along! Similarly Vasco’s at the Hilton has a 50 percent off on their Sunday brunch for all mums and a complimentary high tea at Q Bar after! There’s a 50% discount for mums at the Sunday brunch at the InterContinental Resort on ECR, along with a 30% discount at their spa Amrtam.

Shoot Some Hoops Or Play Footy With Your Mum

A basketball event on Saturday and a football event on Sunday, organised by event planners Local XO, is just for mums, and their families. Mothers can get a chance to play basketball and football at two of the city’s best indoor courts (Rush Madras, RA Puram and Whistle, Nungambakkam) with with fellow mums and families from across the city. The entire event is meant for recreational play, so you don’t have to worry about whether you’ll fit in or whether you’re good enough. Just sign up and play!
