What Makes It Awesome
Just five minutes from the Ooty bus junction, yet still, a secluded spot, this vintage bungalow called Nova Scotia, is a hidden gem in the hills. What used to be a holiday home for the British back in the day, the property is now full of colonial-style interiors, antique swings, and wooden furniture. Equipped with five suites and an extra double bedroom, you could choose to head here with the squad and book the entire bungalow or even surprise bae for a romantic getaway in one of the suites.
They provide most amenities and a few parts of their interiors are furnished to satiate modern requirements. The Airbnb offers comfortable queen-size beds, cupboards and spacious bedrooms that also come with a fireplace. For those of you looking for outdoor sports, their private badminton court is probably the most scenic ever.
Talking about picturesque, their Sunset Tea area is gorgeous. We loved this spot at the guest house as it offers a view worth staying back for. Sip some authentic Ooty chai and lay back as you witness a breathtaking sunset amidst the hills. You could also ask for a private camp fire if you need to warm up at night.
