Off The Record in Nungambakkam offers multiple floors of fun! One of Chennai's favourite party hub, this zany resto-bar welcomes you right from the entrance with its ultra trippy interiors and a fancy bar to ogle at once you are in. Their menu is just as cool as their wall art, offering quirky cocktails and fusion dishes. While their first floor comes with loads of black and red themed interiors, pop posters and paintings for a resto-bar like set up, their second floor is more for party junkies.
Coming to their menu, we love how crisp Off The Record's drinks menu is with cocktail specials starting at INR 450. The flavours are very tropical, and we recommend you check out the Green Bastard loaded with gin, cucumber, egg white and lime, or the rum and brandy-based Melting Moments or the tequila-heavy — Joker among others. We also liked sipping on their Long Island Beach Iced Tea. Tangy and refreshing, you cannot go wrong with LITs!
For starters, we tried out a bunch of dishes like Malai Broccoli Kebab, Cottage Cheese Popcorn and Baby Urulai Roast. The menu also has some Asian grills to dig into. Their 4th Dan Curd Rice is a total surprise!. Also worth checking out is their Rajasthani Chicken and Cheese Stuffed Mushrooms. There’s a whole bunch of steaks and seafood delicacies like Marina Fish, Crispy Calamari to tuck into as well. A total feast with some sick beats to groove to, we get why people like to party it out at Off The Record.
