Considered to be something between sprouts and baby greens, microgreens have been creating quite a buzz. What used to be looked at as a fancy garnish you would find at your plush restaurants has made its way into daily food, and so, we had to go and find out what's on offer! That's how we came across Indian Organiko, a micro-farm based in Chennai.
These guys organically grow their microgreens using non-GMO seeds. From broccoli micros, basil, red amaranth to Sango radish (has a beautiful purple hue and known to be anti-inflammatory), bok choy, beet tops, sunflower, corn micors and more - you can find a whole range of microgreens here.
