What Makes It Awesome

There is no scarcity of designer boutiques in the city. But some of them have really carved a niche for themselves. Shaams in OMR is one such boutique. Having been in business since 1997, this brand is known for its intricate hand embroidery. After having doled out beautiful, Kalamkari and embroidered pieces for household Indian wear brands, these guys set up a retail boutique for walk-in customers, and we're so glad they did that.

Intricate hand embroidery, kundan work, zardozi work, sequins work, satin work - these guys do it all and with such panache. Brides to be, if you're struggling with choosing a designer for your wedding blouse, make sure you check out Shaams' work before taking a decision. Their craftsmanship will surely lure you in. Their patchwork comprising a bird with stones, kundan and pearls on a silk, bridal blouse was simply stunning!

What we love about them the most is that their styling is not limited to just Indian motifs. Shaams also does patch work with beads, owl and cross-shaped designs, scorpions, dragons, necklace-like patterns that can go beautifully on your gowns and more. We loved their cobalt blue, floor-length gown with pearl work. They even do customised outfits like gowns, crop tops, skirts, pattu-pavadais and more for little girls.
