One of the top stereotypes about Chennai is that it’s a city of idli and dosa. While we do love our fluffy breakfast varieties, the fact is that there is a lot more to Chennai’s food scene, than what meets the eye – which is why you’ve got to sign up for this amazing Sowcarpet Food Walk, curated by top Chennai food blogger, Rakesh Raghunathan. Sowcarpet, is an area in North Chennai that is populated predominantly by the Rajasthani Marwari and Jain community, and has a number of eateries that dish out some of the best North Indian street food you can have in this city. Here’s a sample of what you’ll get to eat on the walk.
