Summertime Madness
PopNRoll is back with yet another home and lifestyle themed pop-up at Rush Madras. In its second edition for the year, Summertime Madness will offer eco-friendly products, chic summer clothing and loads of food. What we loved in their line up for summer was their cute as a button collection for babies. The Dro Sto seems to have adorable baby gear and other brands like Fruits & Herbs and I Am Trouble By KC bring together some natural skincare and quirky outfits to shop. With these and plenty of other lifestyle brands on display, Summertime Madness has got all the bohemian and urban designers under one roof. And of course some fresh cold-pressed juices from Jus Pure too, to beat the heat.

Summer Bazaar by Lime Soda
If you’re looking for printed bags, trendy dresses and Afghani jewellery to jazz up your wardrobe this summer, then this pop up trunk show by Lime Soda is the place to be at. With brands like Mahatriya, Print Masala and Alankrita bringing together a whole range of tunics, footwear and accessories, your search for edgy and earthy products ends here. They also have some brands like Farm @ Home, putting together natural gardening needs and coir pots to revamp your house.

Trunk Bazaar
Now, this a pop-up where you’re definitely going to be spoilt for choice. Not only Chennai, but brands from around the country are ready to display some exciting stuff for us. Our favourite Instagram stores from across Mumbai, Coimbatore, Chennai & Bangalore will now be available for a day in Chennai and here is what you could pick. With a Prisms & Floral theme, you could shop from the classy Tarnika from Cochin, gives your hijab collection a twist with popular styles from That Adorns Hijab, pick up accessories from Zahana, and indulge in delicious bakes and cakes by Crumbs and Layers, Bakeman Begins, and more. There is also going to be a mini music fest happening at the background, as you surf several skin care brands with fruity creams. Don’t forget to dig in to some mouth watering waffles from That Waffle Place, while you shop your heart out.

Ice Gola
Besant Nagar’s quirky store, Maal Gaadi has got an eclectic summer pop-up happening in April called Ice Gola and here’s the list of stylish labels that will be showcasing their creations. For modern edgy outfits, look no further than Priyanka Parekh’s creations and for the ones looking for tribal prints and stitched, there is Hemant and Nandita’s collection to pick from. Also, keeping up with the trend of the season, Vidhi Wadhwani has a range of unusual drapes and a diffusion line this summer. Another label to look out for will definitely be Rishi and Soujit, bringing us a little bit of Calcutta. Their collection is inspired by the City Of Joy and is worth a try.
Moving on to something that gives us out and out summer vibes is Gush, a cruelty free company — they have on display the Wonderland collection, a totally carnival themed and some very colourful footwear. And of course there will be a corner full of summer dresses and flowy skirts by FancyPants.

Arabian Nights — An Evening Souk
In June, an Arabian Nights themed night market will happen at Buva House. This evening souk is being presented by Plush Boot. After their recent trendy affair at Amethyst which had several pretty brands on display, this June they plan to have more such, only this time in an Arabian Nights themed market style. While they haven’t announced their list of brands yet, what we hear is, this will be a Ramadan special with plenty of hijab brands, designers showcasing glittery ethnics, sophisticated tunics & saris, in vogue off shoulders and plenty of art on display.
