The Brew Room has a new artisanal drinking chocolate menu up and available this festive season, and you have to try one or all.

What's So Special?

Just in time for Christmas, The Brew Room has introduced a new menu of hot chocolates, you can choose from. Available only in the Savera Hotel branch, the new menu features drinking chocolate made purely out of chocolate and natural ingredients. No cocoa powder and artificial flavours are used in any of the 10 different flavours on the menu. The concept behind the menu was to chronicle the evolution of drinking chocolate; from the traditional hot cocoa to the new age creamy, smooth drinking chocolate. While there will be simpler flavours like the Classic Signature drinking chocolate, made using high quality cocoa apparently, there’s also Mocha, a combination of a shot of espresso and cacao, Masala Chai, a blend of our own spicy tea with cacao, and even a mint version. Yum!

But we are rooting for the Cookies and Cream, a mix of drinking chocolate with cookies and cream on top, a Lavender & Lemongrass version immersed in creamy vanilla-rich white chocolate. Plus, there’s also a Mayan drinking chocolate made with stone ground organic cocoa and spices, and sweetened with honey for that traditional and ancient chocolate kick.

The last three flavours are a Cinnamon blended hot chocolate, a Mexican Hot Chocolate with stone ground, sweetened organic chocolate discs, meant for the folk who like their hot chocolate with a little oomph, and lastly the combination we’ve all been waiting for, the Peanut Butter drinking chocolate, made using locally-sourced peanuts, coconut sugar and Indian cocoa nibs!

Hot Chocolate

All of this cocoa goodness starts at INR 190 and goes up to INR 240. Pricey if you look at it as just cup of hot chocolate, but let’s be honest it’s a lot more than just that. There’s also Brew Room’s staple food and drink menu for you to enjoy. We’ve heard that their hot chocolate goes well with a slice of their tea cake. We’re excited to try out that and other combinations too!
