'I like big bundts and I cannot lie' - that's the only song we have going on in our heads after we tried one of these ring-shaped cakes from The Bundt Bakehouse. Prachi Agarwal, a blogger and the force behind this cake brand, always wanted to do something with baking. When she travelled to Europe last year, she came across bundt cakes and decided to bring them back with her. That's how The Bundt Bakehouse came into existence.
Dense but moist, we love the fact that you can have bundts all through the day. Agarwal makes them eggless and experiments with new flavours all the time. 'The doughnut shape of the cake gives you a lot of room to try out new designs', says Agarwal who's worked on shaded bundt cakes (two-coloured cake) and offers flavours like strawberry, vanilla, lime, chocolate and orange. But it's her Nutella Overload and Triple Chocolate bundt cake that we're excited to try (it's loaded with Nutella we hear). Cold Coffee bundt with Nutella frosting is another one of her creations and she's keen on adding more exciting flavours to the menu. Gulab Jamun and Oreo would be interesting we think.
If you're excited to try these baked European beauties, DM The Bundt Bakehouse on Instagram a day in advance. Minimum order quantity is half kg. They're open to customisations too.
