What Makes It Awesome

The Hide Out Bistro in is a cute little bistro housed in a bungalow. With a very pleasant ambience, the Anna Nagar eatery is known for its mouth-watering food for very pocket-friendly prices. Start your mornings (or evenings!) with their All Day Breakfast that has various scrumptious and healthy options.

Their Big Boy Breakfast is heavy with toast, sausages, hash browns, eggs of your choice, grilled mushrooms and juice. Get it for just INR 279. However, if you’re looking for a non-meaty and healthier option, you can go for their Green Breakfast that comes with oats, fruit bowls, fresh juice and more at about INR 199. Don’t forget to try The Hide Out Bistro's freshly-made waffles and pancakes, equally yummy and filling. If you are in love with those creamy avocados then you will love their avocado smash as well!

they have got breakfast sliders as well! Imagine eating burgers for brekkie. Their mushroom and cream cheese is our go-to from now but you could also go for bacon and egg or ham and cheese. From their starters, our pick was the Messy Fingers, which are spicy buffalo wings with cheese dips. And for vegetarians the Let’s Nacho is your best bet. Moving onto mains, Chennai definitely has plenty of steak stops but The Hide Out Bistro has definitely aced this dish. Their beef steaks are juicy and well cooked and the chicken steaks are filling with a generous serving of mashed potatoes and veggies.

The Newyorker Burger is one of our faves made with a beetroot bun and filled with succulent beef bacon, grilled onion and more! And wash it down with any of their milkshakes. If you’re a Unicorn fanatic, you could try the Unicorn’s Secret Potion f. We hear it’s a classic vanilla milkshake with some “Unicorn Magic”… We’re not revealing the secret, of course, maybe you could find out for yourself!

Pro-Tip

They have outdoor seating as well. In cloudy day, it makes for a nice casual day out or for a Sunday brunch.
