The movie also stars Kamal Hassan and Srividya. With all the characters in the film intertwined and stellar storytelling, this movie delivers some outstanding performances, making it a treat to watch.

Playing the role of a carefree graduate named Ayyampettai Arivudainambi Kaliyaperumal Chandran, the star delivers clean jokes effortlessly, indulging you into a non-stop laughathon. A remake of the Hindi film Golmaal, Rajinikanth had to shave his moustache for this film, also making it the first film which featured him without a moustache.

A super hit, this one is definitely one of the actor's finest works from that time.
